About
Frank-Borge Wietzke is Associate Professor at the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI), where he co-convenes the Master’s in International Development and leads the PhD support programme. He holds a PhD from the LSE and researches the politics of inequality, social protection, and development in Africa. He has held a Jean Monnet Fellowship at the European University Institute and published in journals including World Development, Socio-economic Review, Population and Development Review, Perspectives on Politics and Democratization. He also brings policy experience from work with the World Bank and UNICEF.
